Obituary for Constance Connie Patricia Hanson (Kimberling)

Constance “Connie” Patricia Hanson, 61, passed away July 1, 2009 at her home. Cremation. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 Monday, July 6, 2009, at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S Center, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Connie was born on October 25, 1947 in Springfield, MO to Eugene and Mary (Hendrix) Kimberling. She graduated from Shawnee Mission East in 1965. Connie married Alan Lee Hanson on June 18, 1974 in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked for Honeywell in Olathe on the assembly line for parts replenishment, taking long-term disability in 2008.

Connie was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband Alan; her mother Mary of Overland Park, KS; children, Darlene Annette Hanson, Gardner and Christopher Dwayne Hanson, serving with the US Army in Iraq; brother, Ronald Kimberling, Houston, TX; and grandson, Seth.
