Arlene Frances Aubrey Wilkey, 82, of Spring Hill, KS went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2009. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Fri., May 29, 2009 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S Webster, Spring Hill, KS (913) 592-2244. Burial will be 1:30 pm at Milford Cemetery, Milford, KS. Arlene was born December 15, 1926 at Manhattan, KS to Myron D and Daisy M Worley Aubrey. She graduated from Junction City, KS High School in 1945. She worked in the Payroll Office at Fort Riley, KS and the Telephone Office.

She married Richard K Wilkey in 1948 and moved to Kansas City, KS. They had three sons, Richard, Harold and Michael. Harold passed away at the age of 26. She was married for 28 years and divorced in 1976.

She worked for United Way of Wyandotte County for two years and then worked for the Wyandotte County Parks for 14 years retiring February 1992. She moved to Olathe for two years, then moved to Clearview City, KS for eight years. She then moved to Spring Hill, KS to be near her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a son. Survivors include sons, Michael D Wilkey, Overland Park and Richard K. Wilkey, Jr. and Barbara, Gardner; brother, Richard S. Aubrey, Junction City, KS. She leaves 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
