Virginia “Ginny” Mae Moore, 78, Stilwell, Kansas passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Elm Grove Baptist Church, 15375 W. 247th Street, Paola, Kansas. Ginny was born in Garfield, Kansas on October 3, 1942 to Charles and Lillie Elizabeth (Blose) Murdie. She grew up in Garfield and graduated from Garfield High School in 1961. After graduating, Ginny moved to Kansas City, Missouri and attended TWA Training School. She married Dr. Chester Elliott Moore II on May 20, 1977 in Kansas City, Kansas. Ginny worked for AT&T and was as a Johnson County court reporter. She was then an executive secretary for the American Nursing Association but her most rewarding job was being a homemaker for her family. She had many talents such as sewing and gardening. She bred and raised St. Bernard dogs and operated her own ceramic business, Ginny’s Workshop in Stilwell, Kansas.

Ginny is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Elliott, of the home; children: Kevin (Dawn) Lancaster, Blue Springs, Missouri, Chuck Lancaster, Stilwell, Kansas, and Jessica (Nick) Vitale, Overland Park, Kansas; siblings: Virgil Murdie, White Lakes, Michigan, Kenneth “Skip” Murdie, Garfield, Kansas and Linda Blakely, Stilwell, Kansas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
