Tracie Michaels, 56, Eudora, Kansas passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Tracie was born July 22, 1964 in Olathe, Kansas to Thomas F. and Sheryl Lynn (Rogers) Wempe. She graduated from Spring Hill High School and worked in customer service for a grocery store in the deli department. Tracie liked to be outside cooking and gardening. She enjoyed creating crochet and knitted projects. Her most cherished time was spent being with her grandchildren. Tracie loved her cats, especially Earl.
Tracie was preceded in death by her mother Sheryl and sister Trudie Hutchison. She is survived by her father Tom and stepmother Vicki Wempe , Spring Hill, Kansas; children: Ashlee Michaels, Bonner Springs, Kansas, Natasha Michaels, Kansas City, Missouri, Josh Hollinger, Eudora, Kansas and Abby Hollinger, Eudora, Kansas; siblings: Todd (Brenda) Wempe, Gardner, Kansas, Trent (Cindy) Wempe, Olathe, Kansas, and Terie (Chris) Jahr, Paola, Kansas and grandchildren: Sydney, Brooklyn and Mila.
