Thomas “Tom” B. Seavey, Jr., 82, Olathe, Kansas passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Menorah Hospital. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas 66083 (913) 592-2244. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 112 E. Nichols, Spring Hill, Kansas. Tom was born on July 12, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri to Thomas Burnham and Vera (Sweem) Seavey, Sr. Tom graduated from Westport High School in 1957 and in 1962, he graduated from Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri. He married June Crosley in Cunningham, Kansas on December 10, 1966. Tom worked as a sales representative in construction materials for Cisco, Kansas City, Missouri. Tom was a member of the Spring Hill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading, target shooting and hunting. Tom’s most cherished time was spent with his family.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Lorna and Jackie. He is survived by his wife June of the home; daughter Stefanie Martin, Jefferson City, Missouri; son Scott Seavey and wife Geri, Olathe, Kansas; grandchildren: Elaura (Jake), Kris (Jill), Andrew and Sydney and great-grandchildren Rhine and Lorelei.
