Sherry was born Feb. 15, 1954 in Ypsilanti, MI to Paul Nathaniel and Flossie Mae (Smith) Smallwood. She was an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO for many years and was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 249. Sherry married John Adams on Sept. 22, 2015 in Honolulu, HI. She was a certified scuba diver and enjoyed sailing on ships. Sherry will be missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Roger Smallwood and Paula “Penny” Scott. Sherry is survived by her husband, John, of the home; her daughter, Melissa South, Grain Valley, MO; sons: Jesse and wife Hayley Little, Houston, TX and Adam and wife Sara Little, DeSoto, KS and seven grandchildren: Breanna South, Jacob South, Dylan Paris, Andrew Little, Macie Little, Kyla Jacobs, Avery Paris and Pyper Little.
