Sharon was born January 5, 1942 in LeLoupe, KS to Clarence “Brownie” and Cleo Emily (Cannady) Houdashelt. She attended grade school in Ottawa, KS before moving to Gardner in 1954. Sharon graduated from Gardner High School in 1960. She married Marion Kramer on April 2, 1988 in Gardner, KS. She was currently serving as President and was past Treasurer of Gamma XI Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi in Gardner, KS. Sharon was a force to be reckoned with. When she set her mind to a project it was game over. She loved to garden. Her flowers were a passion and a source of pride as she worked tirelessly to make sure everything was “Martha Stewart” perfect. Passing by her house was always a pleasant experience seeing all she had done. She decorated her world both inside and out to create a peaceful and beautiful world in which to live. Sharon was a truly kind person with a gift of a pure and giving heart. She helped so many people when they needed her. Sharon loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure and was always proud of every aspect of their lives. She also considered many others as part of her extended family. Sharon will be truly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Betty Houdashelt. She is survived by her husband, Marion; daughter, Tami (Anthony) Bartolomi, Gladstone, MO; son, Christopher Hayes, Gardner, KS; stepchildren: Rachel (Sean) Przybyl, Chesapeake, VA and Kevin (Renee) Kramer, Gardner, KS; eight grandchildren: Justin, Zachery, Kayla, Steven, Alicia, Sarah and Derick; siblings: Clarence Jr. “Rick” Houdashelt, Gardner, KS, Connie Wright, Edgerton, KS, Sue Petersen, IA and Art and Steve Jones, Ottawa, KS .
