Obituary for Sandra Ann Huffman
Sandra “Sandy” Ann Huffman, 63, of Baldwin City, KS passed away Dec. 31, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends to visit from 1:00 to 4:00 pm Sat., Jan. 11, 2020 at the Baldwin City Library, 800 7th St., Baldwin City, KS 66006. Sandy was born Dec. 4, 1956 in Merriam, KS to Wayne E. and Frances Eugene (Camp) Spoor. She grew up in Gardner where she graduated from Gardner High School in 1974. Sandy married Terry Lee Huffman on May 27, 1978 in Gardner, KS. After marriage they lived in Paola, moved to SW Douglas County and then to Baldwin City ten years ago. She earned her BS from Devry. Sandy was a project manager for Aero Flex of Lenexa from which she retired in 2011. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jack Spoor and David Wayne Spoor; step-brother, Mark McLenon and step-sister, LeAnn Guy. Sandy is survived by her husband, Terry Huffman, of the home; daughters: Leslie Huffman, Baldwin City, KS, Laura (Anthony) Thomas, Overbrook, KS and Jessica (Nathan) Worley, Baldwin City, KS; sister, Linda Ouelette, Vancouver, WA; step-brothers: Frank Michaels and Richard Michaels, both of Idaho; step-sister, Monica Baier, Florence, TX and grandchildren: Jordan, Nicole and Ellie.
