Obituary for Raymond Wesley Boler

Ray Boler's Honor Guard is now scheduled for this Friday, July 24 at 2:30 p.m.at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, Ks. 66048
Be in line at 2:20 p.m.to follow lead car to Commitment Shelter by 2:30 for 30 minute military ceremony followed by 2 military speakers and concluding with a prayer by Elder Jim Vickers. Only 10 family are allowed under the shelter (masks required). Everyone else close by in cars or stand by car (masks required).
Ray's headstone can be observed right around the corner, section 70, row 3 (4th from the street). Remember, you must be in line by 2:20 at Cemetery Office.




Raymond Wesley Boler, 72, Olathe, Kansas passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at his home. Raymond’s flag draped casket will be placed in the portico of the Overland Park Church of Christ, 13400 W. 119th Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66213 from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 2020 family and friends may drive pass in their cars to pay their respects. Private family direct internment at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas on Monday, April 6, 2020. Raymond was born on September 5, 1947 in Independence, Missouri to Burlyne Ray and Virgie Christine (Heath) Boler. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1965 and continued his education with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from Midwestern State University in 1974. Raymond married Francina Rae Crim on October 19, 1968 at Raytown Church of Christ, Raytown, Missouri. He was a member of the United States Air Force and Missouri Army National Guard from 1966-2009. (39 yrs 10 mo). Raymond enjoyed his career in the military. Raymond became a member of the Overland Park Church of Christ in 1974. (Baptized with Our Lord age 11 (1958). He was passionate about snow skiing & water skiing.(Racer Ray). Raymond cherished time spent with family attending activities for his children and grandchildren such as sports and music events. He, also, loved his part time job driving a school bus for Blue Valley Schools for 11 years for an elementary & middle school. Raymond promoted pharmaceutical products (women's health care)for 21 years and sold real estate with his wife, Francina for 23 years.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Francina Boler of the home; children Camilla Ann Moore, Olathe, Kansas and Bradley Ray Boler, Overland Park, Kansas; daughter-in-law, Melissa Boler (Bradley’s wife); brother Lyndon ”Lee” Boler, Cape Fair, Missouri and grandchildren: Cody, Brianna, Alivia, Kaleb, Dalton, Jace, Lexi and Jaxson.
