Norma was born Feb. 23, 1943 in Independence, MO to Marcus Dee and Bessie Adel (Brumble) Hardison. She grew up in Independence, MO; later moved to Lee’s Summit, MO and then to Spring Hill, KS in 1976. She owned and operated a floral shop in Louisburg, KS called “Touches” in the mid-1980’s. Norma worked from 1992-2021 as an administrative assistant for several grain companies. She was an avid reader; loved her animals, cooking, gardening and tending her flowers. Norma will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Cole “Chip” Phillips in 2012 and brothers: Ronald and Doug Hardison. Norma is survived by her daughters: Debbie (Phil) Boan, Spring Hill, KS and Kimberly Phillips, Phoenix, AZ; two granddaughters: S. Nacole Boan and Lauren (Jon) Johnson; three great-grandsons and close family friend Tiffanie Harper Neyens. Memorials can be made to Wayside Waifs.
