Monica was born Nov. 17, 1976 in Olathe, KS to Richard L. and Janice (Hickman) Fishburn. She was a longtime Johnson County resident; attending Olathe North High School. Monica married Jason King in De Soto, KS on Aug. 8, 2021. She was a homemaker who enjoyed interior decorating and blankets. She loved her family and dogs: Macee, Maddy and Moose. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Jason King of the home; parents Richard and Janice Fishburn, Olathe, KS; children: Kristin Cadwallader, Gardner, KS, Ariel and Jacob Sprague, De Soto, KS, Arren and Mikenly Galloway, Louisburg, KS, Tanner Cadwallader, De Soto, KS, Trevor Cadwallader, De Soto, KS, Kathleen Finders, De Soto, KS and Dustin King, De Soto, KS; brothers: Michael Fishburn, Overland Park, KS and Jason Fishburn, Spring Hill, KS and eight grandchildren.
