Michael “Mike” Rousselo, 49, of Elsmore, KS formerly of Gardner passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021. Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 prior to the Celebration of Life for family and close friends at 5:00 pm at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Mike was born July 10, 1971 in Lawrence, KS to Harold and Sharon (Dwyer) Rousselo. He graduated from Gardner Edgerton High School in 1990 and from Vatterott College with an Associate Degree in Information Technology. However, Mike’s favorite job was as a Taxi Driver for 10-10 Taxi. In his younger years he participated in 4-H and was a member of Fiddle and Pickers.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Grandma and Grandpa Dwyer, and his Grandpa Rousselo. He is survived by his children, David Rousselo, Hillsboro, MO and Justina Rousselo, Oak Grove, MO; grandmother Margie Rousselo; father Harold Rousselo, Claremoore, OK; siblings Jennifer Rousselo, Elsmore, KS and Fallon Williams, Olathe, KS; step siblings Kathy Larson, IA and Vester Gillette, OK; nieces: Heather Hollingshead, Elly Williams, Amber Lies, Allie Cook; nephews Dylan Ellis and Austin Gillette; great niece Vanessa Ellis and great nephew Carson Ellis. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
