Melquisedec Jimenez, 29, Gardner, Kansas passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023 in Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2023. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Bruce Funeral Home Gardner, Kansas 106 S. Melquisedec was born November 25, 1993 in Washington D.C. to Luis Jimenez and Santos (Rivera) Jimenez. He graduated from high school and earned an associate’s degree from JCCC in accounting and finance. Melquisedec was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 2012-2016. He was very proud of his accomplishments; receiving honors from former President George Bush. Melquisedec worked as a package handler for FedEx, Olathe, Kansas. He was a major fan of the Washington Redskins Football team and enjoyed playing football with his nephews. He loved to grill steaks and go to sports bars. He also had a love for America and the game RuneScape.

Melquisedec is survived by his mother Santos, Gardner, Kansas; his father Luis, Capitol Heights, Maryland and siblings: Luis (Mary) Jimenez, Kansas City, Missouri, Moises Jimenez, Stephany (Isaiah) Jimenez, Karla Jimenez, Santiago Brizuela and Evelin Rivera all of Gardner, Kansas, Erick Jimenez and Hailie Jimenez both of Capitol Heights, Maryland.
