Marilyn Grace Willis, 79, of Gardner, KS passed away Aug. 12, 2020 at Olathe Hospice House. A private family graveside service will be held Tue., Aug. 18, 2020 at Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, KS. Marilyn was born Jan. 20, 1941 in Kansas City, MO to Howard and Effie (Renfrow) Bogue. She grew up in Independence, MO; moved to Clinton, MO then to Gardner, KS in 2013. Marilyn was married to Elzie A. Willis and was a homemaker. She liked to play cards, enjoyed arts and crafts and adult coloring. Family was her thing. Marilyn will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elzie and son, Timothy Vail.
Marilyn is survived by her children: Marty and wife Beth Vail, Spring Hill, KS, Christina Key, Gardner, KS, Julia Reed, Odessa, MO, Connie and husband Bradley Cummings, Linwood, KS, Howard and wife Kimberly Willis, Kearney, MO; brother, Richard and wife Catherine Bogue, Independence, MO; 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
