Margaret Lucielle Wycoff, 100, De Soto, Kansas passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 at Hillside Village, De Soto. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. Burial to follow at De Soto Cemetery, De Soto, Kansas. Margaret was born on December 26, 1919 in Kansas to Walter and Mabel (Oshel) Zehner. She grew up in De Soto and remained a lifelong resident. Margaret graduated from De Soto High School in 1939. She married LeRoy Hayse Wycoff, Sr. Margaret worked as a telephone operator in De Soto for First Mutual then AT&T, retiring after 26 years. She was a member of the De Soto Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed gardening and going to Bible Study. She especially liked going to eat with her family and friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband LeRoy; sons LeRoy H. Wycoff, Jr. and Kenneth C. Wycoff and brother Clarence Zehner. She is survived by her daughter Judith Ann Havens and husband Charles, Camden Point, Missouri; daughters-in-law Diana M. Wycoff, Gardner, Kansas and Susan Wycoff, De Soto, Kansas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
