Margaret Ann Brewer, 93, Olathe, Kansas passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home.  Visitation on November 21, 2022, at 11:00am at Bruce Funeral home in Gardner, KS and followed by the graveside service to be held at Edgerton Cemetery, Edgerton, Kansas. Margaret was born on December 4, 1928, to Wayne Claude and Clara Anne (Orlowski) Brooksher. She grew up in Edgerton, Kansas where she graduated from Edgerton High School in the Class of 1946. Margaret married Charles Lloyd Brewer on June 18, 1955. They were stationed in Washington, D.C., Pensacola, FL and Bainbridge, MD to name a few while Charles was in the Navy. Margaret worked as a para legal for 20 years at the U.S. District Attorney’s office in Kansas City, MO.  Margaret earned her Associates degree at JCCC in 1981. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Olathe, Kansas. Margaret loved to spend time with her family, and she was an incredible cook.  Her yeast rolls and cookies were amazing.  One of her passions was genealogy and the family is very grateful for the family history she provided.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles; son James Brewer and brothers: Delbert Brooksher, Robert Brooksher and Charles Brooksher. She is survived by sons: Larry (Joann) Brewer, Ocala, Florida, David (Denise) Brewer, Olathe, Kansas and John (Debra) Brewer, Olathe, Kansas; daughter Janice Brewer, Olathe, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
