Lucas was born in Olathe, Kansas on February 12, 2019 to Edward Patrick and Karra Lea (Lanning) Cahill. He received therapy services through Sunflower Elementary, Gardner, Kansas. Lucas enjoyed dinosaurs, music and bright lights, especially those that were green. He loved his family and big sister. From birth, he fought a severe epilepsy diagnosis called Ohtahara Syndrome. He was resilient and overcame so many obstacles throughout his life, and his family could not be more proud to have had him in their lives. He was loved by many and will always be remembered by his strength, the way he smiled, and his long eye lashes.

Lucas is survived by his parents Karra and Eddie; sister Winry Grace Cahill; grandmother Ellen Marie Cahill and grandmother Estelle Margaret Lanning.
