Obituary for Lowell "Randy" Randall Bradford

Lowell Randall Bradford, 67, Gardner, Kansas passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Randy was born August 31, 1953 in Topeka, Kansas to Charles and Betty (Huston) Bradford. He grew up in Olathe and graduated from Olathe High School. Randy worked for and retired from Delco General Motors, Olathe, Kansas. He married Sue Marler on January 6, 1977. They moved to Gardner in 1981. Randy was a UAW Union member. He sat on the board of the UAW 1031 Credit Union, and also served a term as President. He was a member of the Gardner Friend's church.

One of Randy's great pastimes was playing and watching baseball. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry projects, creating oil paintings, visiting flea markets, attending festivals and family gatherings. He preferred to spend his time in the great outdoors, camping, canoeing, and hiking.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Sue of the home; children: Melissa Hayden, Gardner, Kansas, Sara (Will) Lindstrom, Kansas City, Missouri and Cindel (Nathan) Burk, Garner, Iowa; siblings Richard Bradford, Gardner, Kansas, Ronnie Bradford, Pomona, Kansas, Diane Claar, Ottawa, Kansas, Debbie Lark, Rantoul, Kansas and Denita Shirk, Wellsville, Kansas and four grandchildren.
