Lois Ilene Hansen, 79, Gardner, Kansas passed away after a short illness Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Olathe Hospice House, Olathe, Kansas.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Kidwell Garber Funeral Home, 207 N. Lois was born on January 26, 1943 in Stover, Missouri to Raymond Floyd and Martha Laverne (Ritchie) Palmes.  She grew up and lived for the next 18 years in Versaille, Missouri, where she graduated from high school.  Lois was married to Archie Neal Hansen on December 16, 1962  in Versailles.  They were married 59 years.  Lois and Archie moved to the Edgerton/ Gardner area where Lois spent most of her working life.  She worked as a shipping clerk for Data Documents later Vestcom, retiring after 37 years. Lois enjoyed gardening, sewing and cleaning. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Archie of the home; children: Kelly Hansen, Leesburg, Virginia, Clark Hansen and wife Yvonna, Topeka, Kansas and Clint Hansen and wife Darlene, Crestview, Florida; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
