Obituary for Linda "Diane" White

Linda “Diane” White, 75, of Spring Hill, KS passed away June 27, 2020. A private family viewing will be held before the Graveside Service at 11:30 am July 1, 2020 at Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale, KS. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Olathe Health Charitable Foundation for the Cancer Center. Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Diane was born June 8, 1945 at Camp Pendleton, CA to Forrest and Nadine (McNamee) Bush. After birth her family moved a couple of times, ending up at Sunflower Village and finally to Gardner in 1956. She graduated from Gardner High School in 1963. Diane married Kenneth Dean White on May 28, 1965 in Gardner, KS. She was a homemaker, an administrative assistant at Hillsdale Lake for three years as a Camp Host and later worked for the State of Kansas in Wildlife and Parks for seven years. Diane enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling with her husband. She was a devout Christian and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Kenneth in 2015. Diane is survived by her daughters: Susan and husband Jim Hoskinson, Gardner, KS, Tammi and husband Richard Young, Baldwin City, KS and Terri and husband Greg Watson, Wellsville, KS; five grandchildren: Mitch Hoskinson, Shane Young, Ashli Boehm, Devon Oder and Krysti Watson; four great-grandchildren: Bailey, Piper, Corbin and Rhett; sisters: Sherry and husband Jerry Laquet, Spring Hill, KS and Karen and husband Bill Andrew, Gardner, KS.
