Kimber was born June 21, 2004 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. She was adopted when she was 17 months old by her parents Russell Eugene and Annette Marie (Pfeifer) Lane. Kimber lived in Gardner all her life and was a junior at Gardner Edgerton High School. She and her parents are members at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Kimber participated fully in her faith and had the blessing of receiving her First Holy Communion on January 18th, 2020. She took horseback riding lessons at New Horizon Ranch. She loved to swim and to swing and to be cuddled by her family. Kimber’s most favorite thing was singing. Her friends, teachers, therapists, helpers, and family have enthusiastically joined her in hundreds of Journey, ABBA, Dora, and Happy Birthday sing-a-longs. Kimber’s joy will not be forgotten. Her beautiful smile and infectious belly laugh could light up any room.

Saint Mother Teresa says that we are made to love and be loved. Kimber Rose allowed herself to be loved and taught us all how to love. She was incredibly close to all of her family and will be deeply and profoundly missed.
