Kelly Lynn Spoor, 48, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Friday, May 29, 2020 at Advent Health, Merriam, Kansas. A private Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Kelly was born on May 5, 1972 in Gardner, Kansas to Roger Calvin and Judith Carol (Kaufman) Huggins, Jr. She grew up in Edgerton, Kansas and graduated from Gardner Edgerton High School in 1990. Kelly married Matthew James Spoor in Olathe, Kansas on November 9, 2001. They moved to Overland Park, Kansas after marriage and made their home there for 19 years. Kelly worked for Walmart in Overland Park as an assistant manager for online grocery for 15 years. She was known as being a very hard worker and enjoyed visiting the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. Kelly, who loved to spend time with her family, will be dearly missed.
Kelly is survived by her parents Roger and Judith Huggins, Jr. Paola, Kansas; husband Matthew of the home; children: Brittany and husband Thomas Callaway, Kansas City, Missouri, Jack Robertson III, Overland Park, Kansas and Kimberly Spoor, Overland Park, Kansas; brother Roger and wife Lori Huggins III, Olathe, Kansas and sister Katie and husband Aldo Mendez, Edgerton, Kansas. Kelly was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Kaufman.
