John LeRoy Rolin, 79, Olathe, Kansas passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside service with inurnment 2:00 pm Sat., May 15, 2021 at Edgerton Cemetery, Edgerton, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. John was born in Holton, Kansas on April 9, 1942 to Albert Marcel and Lois Fern (Johnson) Rolin. He grew up in Lenexa, Kansas, graduated from Shawnee Mission High School and attended trade school earning his certificate as a journeyman bricklayer. John was a veteran of the United States Army. John married Anne Kent Humphrey on March 29, 1968 in Edgerton, Kansas. They lived in Baldwin City, Kansas before moving to Olathe in 1972. He worked as a bricklayer. John was a member of the BAC Local #15 and the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman. John enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
John was preceded by his parents; wife Anne in 2009 and sister Mary Alice Hart. He is survived by his daughter Christine Anne Dalton, Leawood, Kansas; son Eric Rolin, Gardner, Kansas and six grandchildren: Logan, Laine, Elliott, Thomas, Katherine and August.
