J.C. McDaniel, 83, Paola, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Life Care Center of Osawatomie, Osawatomie, Kansas. Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Antioch Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the J.C. McDaniel family to help with funeral expenses. J.C. was born March 11, 1937 in Spring Hill, Kansas to Clifford Jim and Ruby Marie (Frazee) McDaniel. He grew up in the Spring Hill area and was a graduate of Spring Hill High School. J.C. was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1955-1959. He was a truck driver and worked for M&J Trucking, Paola, Kansas and Anderson Trucking, Edwardsville, Kansas. J.C. married Sandra Lee White in Paola, Kansas in 1992.
J.C. was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debra Querio; and siblings, Harley Clifford McDaniel, Loren Eugene McDaniel, Denora June McDaniel, Alice Maxine McDaniel, Isa Gertrude Watkins, Harold Dean McDaniel, Cecil Leroy McDaniel, Deloris Marie McDaniel and Laura Imogene Brooks. He is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; children, Denise (Jim) Fisher and Doug (Tammy) McDaniel both of Kingsford, Michigan; siblings, Joyce Elaine Siliva of California, Marilyn Sue (Eddy) Helt of Ozark, Missouri, and Carolyn Joan Rood of Olathe, Kansas; five grandchildren, James Allen, Tyler Allen, Audrey (Quinn) Cretton, Brittany (Mat) Sorensen, and Amanda (Brock) Huehns; three great-grandchildren, Lydia, Logan, and Cooper; brother-in-law, Bill Watkins; and several nieces and nephews.
