Harry LeWayne Kraus, 63, De Soto, Kansas passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at home.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Harry was born September 30, 1958 in Olathe, Kansas to John Laymon and Carmen Carnell (Webb) Kraus.  Harry was a truck driver for Mason Greenhouse, Linwood, Kansas, retiring in 2007. He married Rhonda Sue Sisson on December 1, 1979 in De Soto, Kansas. Harry was a lifelong De Soto resident. He enjoyed going to the casino.  Most of all, Harry enjoyed being with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Randy and John “Bubby” Kraus.  He is survived by his wife Rhonda of the home; children: Carri (Manuel) Kraus, Olathe, Kansas, Kristie (Jeremy) Kraus, De Soto, Kansas and Ronnie (Michelle) Kraus, De Soto, Kansas; sisters Carolyn McClanahan, DeSoto, Kansas and Louise Kraus, De Soto, Kansas; brothers Rodney (Kelly) Kraus, Smithville, Missouri and Donald Kraus, Eldorado Springs, Missouri; grandchildren: James, John, Justin, Trevor, Brayden, Jaidan, Curtis, Brynnlee, Stryker, Draxton and Maya and great-grandchildren Alayah and Justin, Jr.
