Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Johnson, 59, of Gardner, KS passed away Dec. 23, 2021 at Olathe Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, KS (913) 856-7111. Per family request, masks are required to attend the service. The family also requests that people do not wear black at her funeral and instead bright colors and patterns! Liz was born May 7, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Paul and Rosie (Sifuentes) Lopez. She grew up in Kansas City, MO, lived in Independence, MO and moved to Gardner in 1999. Liz was a self-employed house cleaner who was loved by all of her clients. She was very artistic and enjoyed crafting. Liz loved to shop, enjoyed taking her grandkids on countless adventures. She spent most of her time lounging around with her dog, Charlotte, who she adored with her whole heart. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Especially by her grandkids who loved her deeply and her daughters who would cross oceans for her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rosie Lopez, fiancé, David Chapman and brother, Joseph Lopez. Liz is survived by her former husband, Bobby Johnson, Independence, MO; son, Cody Keith, Milo, MO; daughters: Hillary Johnson Oswald, Mapleton, KS and Breena Crawford, North Kansas City, MO; siblings: Michael Lopez, Cedar Hills, TX, Annette Curttright.
