Eleanor Lorraine Clemens, 92, Des Moines, Iowa passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa. Private graveside service will Friday, April 1, 2022 at Gardner Cemetery, Gardner, Kansas. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Eleanor was born on August 8, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa to Merle Judson and Alma (Dietz) Underwood.  She married Theodore Legrand Clemens on December 22, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa.  Eleanor worked as a minister for The Church of God and The Church of God Prophecy in Iowa and Kansas. She liked working on the computer and sewing. Eleanor enjoyed people, teaching Sunday school and participating in many World Mission work projects. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband; parents; siblings: Merline, Floyd, Carolyn, Dwayne and Harold and grandson Daniel. She is survived by her son Marvin Leroy (Brenda) Clemens, Olathe, Kansas; grandson, Jeff Clemens (Anita) and great-granddaughter Mallory Clemens, Olathe, Kansas.
