Dr. Wendell Victor Arndt, 94, Olathe, Kansas passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Olathe. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2020 at Olathe Memorial Cemetery, Olathe, Kansas. Wendell was born on January 2, 1926 in Wyandotte County, Kansas to Earnest Albert and Rose (Locke) Arndt. Wendell earned a Master’s Degree, graduating from dental college. He worked as an orthodontist. He married Charyl Loy Miller on July 30, 1946 in Kansas City, Kansas. Wendell was an inventor, holding the patent for a temperature sensitive titanium orthodontic device. He also was a railroad engineer. Wendell was a Methodist. He was a member of the Dental Society and American Association of Orthodontists.
Wendell is preceded in death by his parents and son. He is survived by his wife Charyl; daughters Faith and Wynn; two grandchildren.
