Dolores Mae Heincker, 89, of Spring Hill, KS passed away Oct. 21, 2022 at Olathe Medical Center. Visitation will be held 9:00 am Wed., Oct. 26, 2022 with services at 10:00 am. Both are at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, KS (913) 592-2244. Burial follows at 1:30 pm at Ft. Scott National Cemetery, Ft. Scott, KS. Dolores was born Dec. 19, 1932 in St. Louis, MO to Coatsy B. and Mary Gladys (Arnold) Hill. She lived in St. Louis before moving to Spring Hill in 2000.  Dolores graduated from high school and earned her LPN while in St. Louis. She practiced her nursing skills in doctor’s offices, hospitals and assisted living facilities. Dolores also enjoyed volunteer work. She married Leon George Heincker on June 16, 1951 in St. Louis, MO. Dolores enjoyed being with family, friends and traveling with her church group.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Leon and sister Mary Lou Hill. Dolores is survived by her son Dwight and wife Donna Heincker, Spring Hill, KS; daughter Saundra and husband Mike Blase, O’Fallon, MO; four grandchildren: Kevin, Ryan (Megan), Thomas (Annie) and Ethan (Taylor) and seven great-grandchildren: Theresa, Jessi, Logan, Levi, Jax, Easton, Teagan.
