Diane Lynn Stines, 72, Edgerton, Kansas passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 at her home. After her passing she was an organ donor. Inurnment in St. Martin’s Catholic Cemetery, Piqua, Kansas.  Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Diane was born in Iola, Kansas on July 1, 1950 to Charles Edward and Betty Anne (Trowbridge) Kress. She grew up in Piqua, Kansas and graduated in 1968 from Iola High School, Iola, Kansas.  She earned a degree from Kansas State University and Central Missouri University.  On April 27, 1974 in Piqua, she married Robert “Bob” Jack Stines. Diane worked in elder care as a service coordinator for 20 years. She was a receptionist for JOCO Housing Department for 2 years before retiring.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents and brothers John ”Punk” Kress and Kirk “Pete” Kress.  She is survived by her husband Bob of the home; children Bailey Stines, Emporia, Kansas and Tyler Stines, Downers Grove, Illinois; siblings: Charyl Link, Iola, Kansas, Chucky (Jan) Kress, Piqua, Kansas and Lori Jay, Brazoria, Texas.

Funeral at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Piqua, Kansas. Monday October 17, 2022, 9:30AM Rosary, 10:00AM mass, graveside service and luncheon to follow.
