Dennis Arthur Roush, 79, Paola, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at St. Luke’s South Medical Center, Overland Park, Kansas. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster, Spring Hill, Kansas (913) 592-2244. Dennis was born in Jefferson, Iowa on March 29, 1944 to Donald Carey and Gladys Virginia (Marsh) Roush. He grew up in Jefferson. Dennis and Linda built a successful concrete company, K.C. Flatwork Concrete, Inc., Olathe, Kansas for 19 years. He was a cattle rancher who enjoyed attending livestock shows. He also enjoyed traveling, boating on the lake, hauling his girls up and down the road for rodeos, fishing and the fair. Dennis never missed an opportunity to be with his family. Dennis lived in Kansas City, Kansas, Olathe, Spring Hill and Kincaid before moving to Paola.

Dennis is survived by his son David Roush, Kansas City, Kansas; daughters: Pamela (David) McCartney, Lincoln, Missouri, Lisa Roush, Batesville, Arkansas, Nicole (Adam) Fike, Edgerton, Kansas and Kelsey (John) Allen, Osawatomie, Kansas; siblings: Virgil (Barb) Kinnan, Spring Hill, Kansas, Barb Strait, Ralston, Iowa, Sandy Case, Grand Junction, Iowa, Connie (Ron) Hoyle, Boone, Iowa and Terry Kinnan, Paola, Kansas, sister-in-law Sharon Kinnan, Warsaw, Missouri; former wife Linda Roush, fifteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary Kinnan.
