Deborah Priest McEwen, 72, Raytown, Missouri passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas. Deborah was born June 28, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert G. and Martha Rose (Cox) Priest. She grew up in Little Rock and graduated from St. Vincent’s School of Nursing. Prior to her marriage, Deborah worked as a public health nurse for Little Rock, Arkansas. On June 28, 1969 Deborah married Robert Lawrence McEwen in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a homemaker, caring for her family. In 1972, Deborah and her family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. She was a worship leader, enjoyed crafts, sewing and Israeli dancing and was a student of Messianic Roots of Christianity. Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend but most important, a child of God saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Robert of the home; daughter Rebecca Skoog and husband Todd, Spring Hill, Kansas and five grandchildren.
