David M. Zuchowski, 73, Paola, Kansas passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Overland Park Regional Hospital, Overland Park, Kansas.  A Celebration Of Life will be held at a future date.  Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

David was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on November 29, 1948 to Paul F. and Alice G. (Pickerel) Zuchowski. He graduated from Bishop Miege High School in 1966.  David married Mary Miller on April 9, 1976 in Overland Park, Kansas.  He worked for Roberts Dairy as a truck routing supervisor, retiring after 40 years. After retirement, David enjoyed driving a bus for Olathe School District. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  He was known for his joke telling, making people laugh.  David had a passion for storytelling, mainly adventurous tales. 

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother Paul.  He is survived by his wife Mary of the home; daughters Kathy Cooper and husband Jason, Tonganoxie, Kansas and Jessica Grother and husband Steve, Paola, Kansas; son Derek Zuchowski, Paola, Kansas; brother Robert Zuchowski, Lenexa, Kansas and grandchildren: Luke, Emily and Heidi.
