David was a Jewel added to our family by God. When he married our cousin Julie he brought unbelievable support and loyalty. Julie talked a lot about the trips they took and what fun they had. Julie also talked about his daughters and how good they were to her and to her Mother, Wilma.
David was brilliant in his friendships and knowing what people needed. It was David who suggested that Julie should spend time with me, helping me unpack and decorate my apartment. Julie took him at his word, and insisted on doing something productive every time she came to visit. This arrangement benefited both Julie and me. I got good advice and assistance and Julie felt needed and accomplished. Clever man, David.
We loved the neighborhood parades David held just about every year. Who else would or could do such a thing. The Trigg uncles just loved to visit with David at these parades and many other occasions. They thought a lot of David and their admiration was not easy to earn.
David's life was well lived and we are thankful for his positive and loving contributions to the lives of others. His life ended much too soon and we will miss him dearly.
