David Wayne Brewer, 72, Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner, Kansas. Cremation with a Celebration of Life at a future date will be held to celebrate David. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

David was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on October 1, 1950 to Marion David and Martha Laverne (Jones) Brewer. He grew up in Arkansas and then moved to Overland Park, graduating from Shawnee Mission South High School. David was co-owner/operator of Brewer Brother’s Construction Company, a home construction business. He was married to Rhonda Carmichael Brewer who preceded him in death. He moved to Spring Hill to his farm where he raised horses and cared for his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rhonda and brother Martin Brewer. He is survived by his sons Micah (Stephanie) Brewer, Gardner, Kansas, and Adam (Lisa) Brewer, Spring Hill, Kansas; sisters Paula Owen, Kansas City, Kansas and Denise Atwell, Overland Park, Kansas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
