Cheryl was born August 12, 1960 in Pasadena, California to Harry Lee and Pauline Jean (Brunell) Hibbitts. She graduated from Olathe High School, Olathe, Kansas in 1978. Cheryl married Pat Findley on September 29, 1978 in Spring Hill, Kansas. She was the owner and manager of Hometown Liquor, Spring Hill, Kansas. Cheryl enjoyed cooking, raising plants and spending time outdoors.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband Pat of the home; daughter Shannon Cole-Findley, Spring Hill, Kansas; mother-in-law Barbara Findley, Spring Hill, Kansas and numerous friends.
