Obituary for Cherrylene Ferrell
Cherrylene Ferrell, 65, of Olathe, KS, passed away Nov. 23, 2020 at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital. Cherrylene was born June 19, 1955 in Dermott, Arkansas to Sylvester and Clarasteine Union. She grew up in Kansas City where she graduated from high school. She worked for over 20 years as a United States Postal Service mail carrier and clerk at the Bulk Mail Center in Kansas City, KS; retiring in 2006. After retirement, she moved to Olathe, KS to be with family. Cherrylene devoted her life to raising her beloved children. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Deborah and Fred Hampton and Morris Union. Cherrylene leaves to mourn her passing her beloved children: Stephen Stewart (Olathe, KS), Sigmund Stewart and fiancée Jessica (Kansas City, MO), Michael Davis and fiancée Josette (Lenexa, KS) and Telisha and husband William Steineger (Olathe, KS). She also leaves eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and three siblings, Sylvester Union III (Kansas City KS), Willeen Williams (Olathe, KS) and Angela Jordan (Overland Park, KS), as well as a host of loving in-laws, beloved friends and ever-increasing generation of nieces, nephews and cousins.
