Charles “Chuck” Lee Wood, Jr, 76, Olathe, Kansas passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021. Private family viewing 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, Kansas 66030 (913) 856-7111. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 701 N 94 Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Chuck was born on December 16, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas to Charles Lee Wood, Sr and Lyda Margaret (Thomas) Wood. He grew up in the Welborn area of Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Washington High School in 1963. Chuck married Barbara E. French in Bethel, Kansas on May 2, 1964. He worked for Superior Supply in North Kansas City, Missouri. Chuck moved his family to Olathe, Kansas in 1975. He will be truly missed by family and friends.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents and sister Aloha Margaret Ward. He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; sons: Michael Charles and Jenny (Core) Wood. Geronimo, Oklahoma and Theodore Mason and Rachel (Snavely) Wood, Peculiar, Missouri and two grandsons (The Wood Boy’s) Everett McCoy (Mac) and Joseph Michael (Joe).
