Obituary for Carol Ann Bozick

Carol Ann Bozick, 87, Louisburg, Kansas, formerly of Spring Hill, Kansas passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation 9:00 – 10:30 am Wednesday, August 31st with funeral service following at 11:00 all at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 28750 Hospital Dr., Paola, Kansas .  Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Spring Hill, Kansas.  Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Carol was born in Spring Hill, Kansas on September 2, 1934 to Eugene Victor and Doris Leona (Hillman) Johnson.  She grew up in Wyandotte County, earning her education from Wyandotte High School, Kansas City, Kansas.  Carol was an inspector for 37 years at Deluxe Corporation, Lenexa, Kansas. She married Matthew J. Bozick on March 16, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. They lived in Spring Hill over 40 years, recently moving to Louisburg four years ago.  Carol was a member of The Church of  Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Paola. She was involved with her church with the Relief Society, Local Missionary and Seminary class. Carol enjoyed genealogy, sewing quilts and pillows, cooking, traveling and making and collecting ceramics.

 

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; sons Clark Rickard Goodwin and Clint Michael Goodwin; daughter-in-law Melody Goodwin and brother Eugene Victor Johnson.  She is survived by her husband Matt of the home; children: Catherine Ann (Dean) Riedel, Raymore, Missouri, Charles Elwood Goodwin, Jr., Blue Springs, Missouri, Brian (Ann Marie) Bozick, Melbourne, Arkansas, Bret Alan (Traci) Bozick,  Overland Park, Kansas and Bruce Matthew (Amy) Bozick, Kansas City, Missouri; brother Richard W. Johnson, Osceola, Missouri; sister Janet Doris Daniel, Tonganoxie, Kansas; 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
