Candace Sue Curless, 70, Spring Hill, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Hoeger House, Olathe, KS.  Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 1, 2022 at Hutchinson Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Kidney Association.  Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Candace was born October 2, 1951, in Hutchinson, KS. to Ted and Thelma (Arthur) Allen.  Her mother married “Pat” Herbert Earl Haskard on December 29, 1966 and Candace was adopted by Pat.  Candace married Carl Curless on October 23, 1971, in Hutchinson, KS.  They moved to Spring Hill, KS in 1984.  Candace was a nurse’s aide in the infirmary at Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe, KS. and was a member of Life Springs Church.  She enjoyed reading, race cars and going to the races.

Candace was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Carl of the home; sons: Chad Curless (Melissa)  Olathe, KS. and Chuck Curless, Spring Hill, KS; grandchildren: Alyson, Olivia, Evelyn and Ivy.
