Obituary for Beulah I. Ferguson

Beulah Inis Ferguson, 91, of Gardner, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Villa St. Francis, Olathe, Kansas.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Church of the Harvest, 14841 S. Black Bob Rd, Olathe, Kansas, 66062. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM, service will start at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be at Caplinger Mills Cemetery, Caplinger Mills, Missouri, at a future date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Beulah was born on April 6, 1931, in Humansville, Missouri, to Ferrell V. and Beulah E. (Hitt) Callen. She grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, and graduated from Rosedale High School in 1949. Beulah married Bill Ferguson on May 27, 1949. Beulah worked as a Lithographer for the Graphic Arts Union GCC/IBT. She was an avid crafter who liked to sew and crochet. Beulah had a large doll collection and also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds that visited her yard. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Bill Ferguson, son Vernon D. Ferguson, parents Beulah and Ferrell Callen,  and siblings Jessie Della Callen, Ferrell Charles Callen, Bessie Irene Messick, and Joyce Dee Mabe.  She is survived by her daughter Karin (Dean) Windsor, Gardner, Kansas;  granddaughters Susan Windsor and Christine (Charles) Hails;  three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
