Ashley Kay Harlan died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Olathe, KS at the age of 23. A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4 from 2-4 PM at Bruce Funeral Home, 712 S. Webster St., Spring Hill, KS 66083 913-592-2244. The funeral will be held on Monday, February 5 at 10:00 am at LifeMission Church, 16111 S. Lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66062. Private family burial at Spring Hill Cemetery. Pastor Kwan Porter will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Ashley's life. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to The Homestead Ministry in Manhattan, KS. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com

Ashley was born on December 22, 1994 in Olathe, KS to Roger Earl Harlan II and Kandi Kay Harlan. After moving to Manhattan, KS, Ashley began ministering to survivors of sex trafficking and abuse. Ashley was whole heartedly committed to following Jesus wherever she felt him lead her. She loved God with all she was. Ashley was expecting a baby boy who also passed with her.

Ashley is survived by her father, Roger Earl Harlan II; brother, Roger Earl Harlan III; grandmother, Marvel Dianne Harlan Cowell; grandfather, Rodney R. Cowell and grandfather, Perry L. Richardson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Kandi Kay Harlan; grandmother, Barbara Kay Richardson and grandfather, Roger Earl Harlan, Sr.
